Included is the full mod Halo 2: Combat Evolved created by Dest

Before you do anything else: Decompress the Halo2CE.7z archive. It is in 7-Zip format, so you will need to download 7-Zip to decompress it.
			     http://www.7-zip.org/download.html

Installation: Copy to the included 'h2ce' to either the 'E:\games' or 'F:\games' directories in your modified Xbox, or wherever you normally

put games on your Xbox's Hard Drive. This can be done via FTP, which is basically file transfer over a network connection

from your computer to your xbox; See the FTP instructions below. Alternativly you could create an ISO, and burn the mod

to a DVD (see 'ISO Creation'.) Sorry, this will not work on an unmodified Xbox.

Side note to installation: You may want swap out the included 'fonts' folder and 'default.xbe' for that of your own country/region

copy of Halo 2. If you choose to do this you will need to disable the auto-update. Instructions on

how to do so are included below. The included 'default.xbe' is modified to set H2CE apart from Halo 2

own seperate game. If you want your Halo 2 profiles and gametypes to work with both H2CE and Halo 2

then you will need to replace the included 'default.xbe' with the one from your Halo 2 disc.

ISO Creation: Go into the included iso creation tools folder and run Qwix (created by Team Avalaunch, http://www.teamavalaunch.com/.)

Click on 'Create ISO', it's on the left side of the window right below the DVD icon. Under 'Source' find and click the circle

to the right of the text 'Local Folder'; The circle should now be filled in. Next click the '...' icon which is far right

of the 'Local Folder' text. Once you have done that a window should pop up asking you to select a 'Source Folder for ISO'

find and select the 'h2ce' folder included in this package then click okay. Next, click 'Create ISO'. Choose a folder to

save the ISO to. Congratulations, you have successfully created an ISO of the H2CE mod. Now all you need to do is burn it

to a DVD, insert it into your Xbox and play. Instruction on how to burn an ISO are not included in this 'ReadMe'; If you don't

know how to burn an ISO, I'd suggest you google a tutorial.

FTP: First, download FileZilla http://filezilla-project.org/; It's free, open-source, and relativly easy to use. Make sure your PC is

connected to your computer either via a hub, switch, or router or directly. If you are connecting directly to your Xbox you will

need to use a crossover cable http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethernet_crossover_cable. If your connecting through a router, switch,

or hub, you will need to use a straight through or, patch cable http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patch_cable (two names for the same

kind of cable.) After you are certain this is done you may attempt to FTP between your xbox and PC. You will need to find out your

Xbox's IP address. This can be found on your Xbox's modified dashboard. It is a series of 4 numbers between 0 - 255 seperated by

periods (should look like this 192.168.1.50 actual numbers will vary, especially the 4th number). At this point it would be helpful

to refer to the "FTP tut pic" included with the mod package. Input the required information where it says, then press quickconnect

and with a bit of luck you should be able to connect and send files to your xbox. If the username/password, xbox/xbox does not work

then you might have changed your password, refer to your modified xbox dashboard. It should tell you somewhere on there what they are.

If your still having trouble refer to the guides below, or a geeky friend, neighbor, relative. Alternativly, you may present your xbox

with a sacrificial offering of a steak burrito, extra guac. Or, just burn a DVD of the mod. Do not under any cicumstances attempt to

contact me; I will ignore/laugh-at you.

Disabling the halo 2 dlc and updates:

(Only necessary if you are not using the default.xbe included in this mod)

		1. Go to E:\TDATA\4d530064\

		2. You will/may see 2 folders "$u" (update) and "$c" (content)

To disable them just rename them by adding a number to them like "$u1" and "$c1"

That turns off the Auto Update. and stops the dlc halo 2 maps from showing up H2CE menus

3.Next, to clear the cache, go back to where all the drives are.
Delete everything in the folders X, Y, and Z.

Just remember to turn the Auto Update back on for Halo 2 and to clear the cache

every time you switch to the other version of Halo 2.

	Bugs:

Hang'em high and Derelict remakes are betas; They have glitchs and sound problems and Hang'em high has about 6 or more overshields.

Certain maps have power ups that stay on when you shut them off, because they replace some other items or some other reason they
		are listed below.

			Ascension: active camo
			Midship: both
			Colossus: active camo
			Elongation: active camo
			Catacombs: overshield
			Tombstone: overshield

There are some issues with the Battle rifle on certain maps

Fireing the BR unscoped does not work on Echostation, Sentinalbase, & Desolation

Some covenant style maps spawn you with a Carbine when you choose the BR as the weapon to spawn with.
